Great food..I had the special...I would order it again

Not the worst dining experience I've ever had, but everything from the food to the atmosphere was mostly displeasing. Also, the place is incredibly expensive; $6.00 for an iced tea. We ordered chicken fried steak and a classic burger, both with fries. The fries were served cold on both plates. The 14-dollar chicken fried steak was mostly breading and the meat was filled with sinew. The dining area was too dark and the air conditioner was set on 'meat locker'. The only reason this place gets two stars instead of one is because the expensive 12-dollar burger was actually pretty dang awesome. Warning: lunch for two was in excess of $40.

The food was good. AC was struggling because of the weather. Will go again when it cools off.

Very poor service and customers get prioritized over others. Almost went the entire meal without a refill and others who were with us never even got the food. Also if you ask for the manager shes rude and needs to learn better people skills especially in the restaurant business.... Other guests who go be warned

We stopped in for dinner at 7pm and we're not able to wrap up dinner for almost 90 minutes. We were seated immediately, but it took about 45 minutes to get or order in and get our food. The food was good and the waitress was friendly, but the restaurant seemed to be running short staffed. The restaurant was nice and there seemed to be banquet rooms available for large parties.

After reading the reviews was a little nervous about meeting family here but so glad we did. The restaurant was decorated so chic! The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The food was hot, fresh & delicious. I had a burger that was delicious & the roasted garlic & Parmesan potatoes were amazing. My husband had a steak & he said it wasn’t the best steak he’s ever had but definitely one of the best he’s had in West Texas. Was worth the drive to eat here & will come back.

Food was good, margaritas we're alright. Bartender took care of us well, I felt it was too pricey.

Food is all right... service is slooow, one horse town.. leaving you no choices.

Skeptical after reading reviews but absolutely did NOT disappoint. Quick service. Cobb salad was delish. My bf got the chicken fried steak and didn't even leave a bite. Drinks were perfect. Rumchata with root beer and Cherry Vanilla with Disaranno were a perfect end to out quick stop in Snyder. Definitely recommend.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, with great decor. All staff have been friendly and pleasant. The menu is unique for West Texas but quality and flavor is lacking on several dishes. Service is also inconsistent. The last 2-3 visits good service when seated but as soon as food is served the waiter disappears until the end of the meal. Last time I was left without a drink refill for the entire meal, this time I had a very undercooked and unseasoned steak. By the time my waiter came back to check on my meal, I didn't have time to send it back to the kitchen. The potatoes were good but very heavy handed on the garlic. I have yet to have a lunch that was done very well. In addition to the steak I have tried thr salmon, a pasta dish, a salad and nachos. Maybe the quality and service is better at dinner but the lunch has been disappointing.

Not much choice in snyder. Orange chicken is frozen nuggets bad Tasting sauce not much orange to it.

Excellent steak. The staff here is amazing and the food is spot on. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Snyder.

As always, the chef's salad was excellent. Love it with the homemade jalapeno ranch dressing!

Great place to hang, good food, locals and visitors alike here. One of few good places to go in Snyder.

The entire restaurant smelled like sewage. They probably have an issue that needs to be looked into. The steaks were not very well marinated and tough. I enjoyed my salad but two others at my table complained of grit in theirs. The staff was excellent & tended our every need as though we were the only ones there & they do not add gratuity for large parties but instead trust you to tip appropriately.

Sirloin was cooked perfect, sweet tea was awesome, creme brulee was kick butt!Oh my best place all week... Traveled to Tucson and back to DFW, I will be back! 😀

Way too pricey for what I ordered. Showed up about 30 mins later wasnt ready, waited another 10-15, then went back twice because order wasnt complete. The food itself wasnt too bad, just had fish. Best tarter sauce I have ever had tho ever. I do have to say.

Working in fluvanna but staying in Snyder for a few months and came to eat to the butchers block and was not impressed with their seafood, their calamari was thick cut and super rubbery, coleslaw was nasty and frenchfries were cold and soggy, I think they probably specialize more in steaks, but oh well probably won’t be back. 👎🏼

The food is good most of the time, its really a hit or miss, but I feel that is everywhere. Staff is mostly friendly and helpful. The chef/cobb salad is the bomb and HUGE.

The Butcher's Block is a Gem in the small town of Snyder, home of the white buffalo. The mustard sauce for the chicken breasts is uniquely creamy spicy mustard tart. The prices are reasonable and the menu has some very unique items. If you are in the area, check out this little dive.

Super food, good service!

Man, I tell you what..... they make some awesome burgers. Good size patty with some great in house made sour dough buns. The little town of Snyder, Texas has themselves a true gem. They also offer a wide variety of dishes, salads and appetizers. Don't miss this place.

Food was decent but a bit over priced. Good luck finding the place at night... no lights in the parking lot, no road side sign, sign on the building is barely lit.

After the lunch crowd is when we visited this afternoon. It was nice having no one in there except several people. They are packed due to the oil field traffic at lunch and all kinds of people at dinner because it is a steakhouse. I would highly recommend anyone to go there and eat at any time because their menus are their own creations.

Good food but very costly for the amount you get

Kind of disappointing.. nice place inside with a full bar but the waiter was young and didn't know the menu. I had the special for the day "crab cakes" . I asked if it came with anything and was told " I dont know " by the waiter . I asked if it came with a side salad at least but was told no ... he never asked if I would like to add one ... I did want to but oh well. The coleslaw tasted like water and crab cakes were what you expect for canned crab.
